Cellophane

Real cellophane, as opposed to "cello" or polypropylene, is made from natural cellulose that comes from wood. Cellophane is a natural product and is 100% compostable with nearly zero environmental impact.

Cellophane also has high permeability that allows moisture to pass thus preventing condensation and reducing the risk of mold. It is a superior product and better than polypropylene or "cello" for such uses as fresh produce, doughnuts or cream cakes, natural products and microwave products. It also has more saturated, deeper colors and it has the ability to crinkle like this which is desirable for many display purposes.. It is non-toxic and FDA approved.
